Gena and Cheburashka have a heartwarming adventure about friendship, learning, and perseverance. Gena doesn't realize his friend Cheburashka is having trouble with reading. On the first day of school, September 1st, Gena enrolls Cheburashka to learn.Their first try at getting a school uniform fails, but they go to school anyway and find it's closed for repairs. Shapoklyak arrives and, with Lariska the Rat's help, speeds up the renovations.Even with few teachers, Gena and Shapoklyak become teachers in this sweet story. It shows how important education is, and how teamwork, adaptability, and friendship can help even the most unlikely of friends.
