Описание:
Based on the life of Marcial Maciel, founder of the Legion of Christ, the film follows the fictional Father Ángel de la Cruz. Maciel's history of child abuse remained hidden until 2006, publicly acknowledged in 2009. Director Luis Urquiza tells the story through the perspective of 13-year-old Julián, who leaves his family to enter a seminary. Father Ángel chooses Julián as his devoted disciple, housing him in his private quarters and renaming him "Sacramento Santos." He then begins Julián's training in absolute obedience, with the core principle being: Never question authority.
