During a luxurious cruise, the impeccably stylish and charismatic George Abitbol unexpectedly dies. Intrigued by the strange circumstances and his final cryptic words, the director of an American newspaper tasks three of his best investigators – Dave, Peter, and Steven – with solving the case. As they investigate Abitbol's life, the detectives discover clues hidden within scenes from classic Warner Bros. movies, each increasingly bizarre. Using parody and humor, they piece together Abitbol’s past, trying to understand the meaning behind his last words. This film playfully reimagines the storytelling of *Citizen Kane*, following these somewhat clumsy but endearing detectives on an absurdly entertaining journey that blends comedy and suspense.
