On Lake Williams in East Africa, Charlotte aims to build a tourist center to benefit the local economy. There, she unexpectedly reunites with her estranged husband, Victor, now a dedicated conservationist in the area. As they try to repair their relationship, Charlotte's resort plans face a problem: the site she wants to develop is Victor's important kitchen garden. Set within the beautiful landscape shared with the pygmy community, the film explores themes of love, personal change, and the conflict between progress and protecting nature.
