Move (2012)

Philipp, Wiebke, Jessica, Maria, Swantje, Michael, Thomas, and Dina – eight friends in their twenties, each feeling isolated – are all searching for something new: a city, a job, an apartment, or a love. Their search is ongoing, leading them to repeatedly gather for a common event: someone's move. Boxes are constantly being packed and unpacked, as lives are exchanged across Berlin and Germany. In *3 ZIMMER/KÜCHE/BAD*, director Dietrich Brüggemann explores lives marked by constant change, where friendships are the only stable element. The film offers humorous glimpses into how this generation views themselves, portraying moving as a symbol of a life in motion.
